Microsoft 365 in Apple Mail (First-time Setup)

The following steps are for first-time setup of Apple Mail for Microsoft 365 (Exchange) email.

Step 1 - Click the Mail icon on the dock to launch Apple Mail.

Step 2 - Select Exchange as the Mail account provider and click Continue.

Choose Mail Provider

Step 3 - Type in your name in the Name field, as well as your NetID username followed by @rice.edu in the Email Address field.

Step 4 - Click Sign In.

Step 5 - Click Work or School Account.

Step 6 - Enter your NetID password and click Sign In.

Step 7 - Choose your DUO authentication method.

This concludes the first time setup configuration in Apple Mail.
