|Zoom Conferencing|| Zoom is a video and web conferencing tool that unifies cloud video conferencing, simple online meetings, and group messaging into one easy-to-use platform.

|Library Journals||Access "Rice Only" Library Electronic Resources | When accessing Library electronic resources while off-campus, you will be required to verify your Rice affiliation with the Rice EZproxy system.|
|VPN | Connecting to Rice Resources|| VPN stands for Virtual Private Network because it makes your computer appear as if it was connected to Rice's private network.
Some Rice resources are only available to computers inside the Rice network, such Banner, Edgar, Hyperion, Rice Marketplace). VPN allows you to connect remotely to the Rice network and access these restricted resources.
|Remote Desktop Protocol||Setup remote desktop protocol prior to working remotely and/or travel.|
|Rice Personal storage (u:drive)||In order to map to university network drives from a remote computer, you must connect using VPN.|
|Eduroam|| Eduroam is a world-wide access
service that allows individuals from member institutions to connect to
wireless networks at other member institutions.
