Single Sign-On (SSO) and Duo two-factor authentication access security services were implemented in fall 2021 to protect Rice Google Workspace for Education and Duo for Microsoft 365 and their respective applications. These are the same services currently used for authentication for: MyNetID, Esther, and imagineOne applications.
Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that enables users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites by using just one set of credentials.
Duo Two-factor Authentication is access security designed to safeguard all users, devices, and applications.
