Installing Mobility Print on Android Devices

This document explains how to install Mobility Print on Android devices for printing on university lab printers.

Mobility Print is a product by PaperCut that OIT is using to allow students and employees to print to Rice lab printers from their personal devices  (i.e. undergraduates could send documents to print in their college's computer lab or Fondren Library).

1. Go to and click the Install or update button, which will direct you to the Google App store.

Mobility Print: About this app: Simplify printing from your Android device with PaperCut Mobility Print.Tap the install or update button and follow the instructions. Mobility Print: You need to turn these on for printing to work. When you're done just print as usual from your apps.

2. To print, tap the Share button to select the Print option. web site with print optionShare button options

3. Select preferred print queue and adjust print options.

4. Tap print button and enter NetID credentials when prompted.

Use Mobility Print? Button choices: Cancel or OK. Your document may pass through one or more servers on its way to the printer. Mobility Print message: Your job needs authentication. Enter username (form: ADRICE\netid replacing netid with your NetID), Password, and then select Print.
