Finding the name of your computer

Shows how to find the computer name for Window operating system.

How to find the name of your Windows Computer

  1. Click on the "Start menu" or "Windows icon" on the lower left of the screen and type "System Information".  Then double click on "System Information" or press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

  2. The right pane will show the name of computer.  Look for the information to the right of "System Name"
