What's New - 2018 Faculty Annual Reports
NEW SUBMIT BUTTON
Here's what's new for your 2018 annual report submitted via the FIS at http://www.report.rice.edu/proj/fis/fislogin:
NOTE: To access the Faculty Information System (FIS) from off campus, you must use VPN.
Report Submit Button. When you are finished with your 2018 Annual Report, please click "My report is complete!" on your faculty home page, which is the page you see immediately after logging in. (Figure 1)
Note that there are three tasks indicated below the submit button which should be completed for your report. These notices will automatically disappear when they have been completed for this reporting year. They include:
Once you have submitted your report, you will have the opportunity to unsubmit it to make further edits if necessary. (Figure 2)
- "CV missing: please attach" Attach an updated CV under "My CV and Documents." Note that the text of this and the other notifications are themselves links to the part of the FIS where these tasks are accomplished.
- "Missing Major Accomplishments." Follow the link to this section. For more info, see What's New for 2017.
- "Missing research database election." Answer this question: "May we include your research keywords in a searchable undergraduate research database?" Follow the link on the notice to find the question. If this question is not applicable to you, it's fine to answer "no."
