Problem: Macintosh running slow
If your Macintosh computer is running slow, try the following steps:
Step 1: On your Macintosh desktop or laptop, perform a PRAM reset.
Step 2: Save your work.
Step 3: Shut down the computer, turn it back on and immediately hold down the Command-Option-P-R keys.
Step 4: Start the Mac in Safe mode by holding the Shift key as you restart. Let is start up, then restart again normally.
