Office 365 Education - Information and Help
Office 365 Education is free to eligible Rice University faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students for use on personally-owned devices. Eligibility for Office 365 Education may require re-verification. Please note the mail application in Office 365 is turned off.
What is included in Office 365 Education?
Office 365 Education include: the most recent version of Office (Office 2016) software download to 5 devices; 1 TB OneDrive storage during your eligibility.
How long can I use Office 365 Education?
You can use Office 365 Education while you are currently enrolled; until you graduate; or no longer affiliated at Rice University. Your eligibility may be re-verified at any time.
What happens when Office 365 Education expires?
If you are using the full, installed Office applications, the Office applications will enter a reduced-functionality mode, which means you can view documents, but no longer edit or create new documents.
Online services associated with the school email address, such as Office Online and OneDrive will no longer work if the associated email address expires.
What do I need to do prior to leaving Rice?
You will need to back up any data stored on the OneDrive.

Remember that your Office 365 Education will no longer be fully functional on any of the devices when your eligibility expires.
