How do I get the extension? Users can manually install the extension in Chrome and Edge by using this link to the Chrome Store:  https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/rice-university-ogl-utili/iaiiemjjcdkljbjemfbfdlkjjajnnkca.

• For Chrome users:
  • Click the "Add to Chrome" button to complete the installation of the extension.
  • Click "Add extension" in the next prompt to complete the installation of the extension
• For Edge users:
  • Click the "Add to Chrome" button.
  • If you receive a prompt saying "Allow extensions from other stores?" click "Allow."
  • Click "Add extension" in the next prompt to complete the installation of the extension.

Can I turn this extension off?  Yes, by moving the selector at the bottom right of the plugin. However, if you access any of the iO Dashboards or Visitor Management System to complete work-related activities, you will not have access to any OGL tips. (Dashboards include: Finance, My Teams, Sponsored Projects and Faculty Funds, and Purchasing and Payments). Training materials are still available to you on the iO Training Catalog: https://imagineone.rice.edu/training-catalog

Can I use this extension on another browser like Firefox or Safari?  No. Chrome/Edge are the only browsers that Oracle supports with these extensions.

How do I know it’s active? When you open your iO dashboard, you will see the OGL widget on the right side of your screen.
