Apple Mail settings for Rice Mail (Cyrus):
1. The IMAP account setup, click on "Mail" and then "Preferences". You will then click the "Accounts" tab then "Server Settings" tab. Make sure to uncheck the "Automatically manage connection settings" check box to see more options as show below. Change the Port to "993".
2. In the "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" section, uncheck the "Automatically manage connection settings" check box to see more options as shown below. Make sure to change the port to "465". 
3. Once you modify these settings, click "Save".
