Getting Started: Conference Now
The Conference Now feature allows both external and internal callers to join a conference by dialing 713-348-2525 or Toll Free 1-866-546-7671.

Meeting Host Directions
- Provide Date and Time, Meeting Number, and Attendee Access Code to all attendee's.
- To start the conference call you can dial x2525 or if off campus dial 713-348-2525 or Toll Free 1-866-546-7671.
- Enter the meeting number. The default is the persons four digit extension.
- Enter the meeting host PIN. This can be set up by the user the first time they log into the self care portal or can be changed under General Setting within the self care portal. See Below.
Attendee Directions
- For attendees dial x2525 or if off campus, dial 713-348-2525 or Toll Free 1-866-546-7671.
- Enter the meeting number. The default is the persons four digit extension.
- Enter the attendee PIN. The default is 12345
The meeting number, meeting host PIN, and attendee PIN can be changed under General Settings in the Self Care Portal at the following link. Self Care Portal
FAQ:
- Participants can dial into the conference bridge before the host starts the meeting and will hear music-on-hold until the host enters the call.
- There is a notification tone when a caller enters or leaves the conference call, but there is no list of callers to let you not know who joined or left the call.
- If the host hangs up (or gets accidentally disconnected) on the call, it does not disconnect the callers. However, the host can't rejoin the call as the "host". They must use the access method of a attendee as shown above.
- Conference Now is a reservation less service. Subscribers can schedule conference calls without any Telecom involvement 24 hours a day.
