RhinoCam Installation

Instructions to install RhinoCam Software on Windows

Step 1: Once you click on the link above, click on "Run" to begin installation.  On the Welcome screen click "Next".

Step 2: Click "Next".

Step 3: Agree to the terms and click "Next".

Step 4: Click "Install".

Step 5: The installation will continue to run.

Step 6: Click "Finish".

Step 7: After the installation you will need to add an environmental variable. Go to "Control Panel" and choose "System and Security".

Step 8: Choose "System"

Step 9: Choose "Advanced System Settings" on the left.

Step 10:  Next select "Environmental Variables".

Step 11: Click "Add" button in the System variables section to add a new System Variable.

Step 12: Variable Name: RLM_LICENSE
              Variable Value:  5053@rhinocam.lic.rice.edu

Step 13: Click "OK" and close Control Panel. Open Rhino and choose "Tools" then "Options".

Step 14: Next select "Plugins"

Step 15: Choose "RhinoCam 2016" and uncheck the box "Enabled". Click "OK" and exit Rhino.

Step 16:  From now on when you start Rhino you will be asked if you wish to load the plugin. This needs to be done as we have a limited amount of licenses.
