Office 365 Education - How Do I Obtain Office 365 Education?

Office 365 Education is free to eligible Rice University faculty, staff, and students for use on personally-owned devices. Eligibility for Office 365 Education may require re-verification. Please note the mail application in Office 365 is turned off. To obtain the Office 365 Education, follow the steps below:
Step 1:  Open your browser, click →  Office 365 Education
  • Enter → NetId@rice.edu
  • Click "Get Office For Free"

Step 2:  Select your role
  • Students > Select Students 
  • Faculty, Staff > select Teachers

Step 3: Create your account; check your email for a verification code and then complete your registration.
 
Step 4: Complete the Office 365 Education signup

Log on to: portal.office.com  
You can install Office 2016 on your computer, and devices or work totally online.
