Microsoft Outlook for Rice Google Mail

This document describes how to setup Microsoft Outlook to add your Organization to your Inbox. You will need a Rice Organization account, a Microsoft Outlook application, and an internet connection.

These instructions are for Microsoft Outlook 2019.

Step 1:  Launch Microsoft Outlook.

Step 2: Select File tab.

Step 3: Select Account Settings.

 Step 4: Enter your Rice Google account:  netid@rice.edu, click on Connect

 Step 5: Enter your Rice Google account password

 Step 6:  Allow Microsoft to access your Google Account, select 'Allow' to use Microsoft Outlook.

Step 7: Account setup is complete.  Note: Uncheck (Deselect) - "Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too"  if you do not want to setup Outlook mobile on your mobile phone.
