How to connect an Android phone to the wireless network
Android is an open source system that can be modified by manufacturers. The functions below will vary, depending on the make, model, and the version of the Android OS installed on your device. The instructions below are accurate for most Android devices.
1. Select "Wi-fi" on the settings page.
2. Make sure that Wi-fi is Enabled, in order to see Rice Owls*. Click on Rice Owls and make sure the settings are:
EAP Method: PEAP
Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA certificate: Use systemCert
3. In the field called "Identity" type your NetID. In the field for password, type your NetID password.
4. Click connect and you should see that the network has connected successfully.
