Manually Configure a Mac Workstation to Connect to the RiceNet3 Wired Network with PEAP MSCHAPv2

This document describes how to manually configure a Macintosh computer to connect to the RiceNet3 Wired Network using PEAP MSCHAPv2. Valid Rice NETID credentials are required

    Step 1:  Connect your Mac to the wired network via an ethernet cable.


    Step 2:  Type in your NetID and NetID password.  If you want to store your credentials, check the box next to Remember this information. Click OK.


    802.1x cert


    Step 3:  You may be prompted to verify the certificate. Click Continue.


    Authentication 802.1X


    Step 4:  Enter your Mac login credentials.


    Local Authentication


    You are now connected to the Rice wired network!
