How to determine what version of Windows you computer is running
This article will help you find what version of Microsoft Windows you are running.
To determine the version of Microsoft Windows installed on your computer, follow these steps.
- Open the context menu for (right-click on) the Start button and select Settings.
- Select System and then scroll down to find the About section.
- Select About to view information about your computer.
- The edition and version of Microsoft Windows will be listed in the Windows Specifications section.
