Microsoft Teams
The Teams collaboration platform provides real-time chat functionality, allowing the Rice community to exchange messages, share files, and collaborate seamlessly. It also enables scheduled or ad-hoc audio and video meetings. Webex
Webex (formerly Webex Teams) is an all-in-one collaboration app that provides instant messaging, file sharing, digital whiteboarding, and calling features to keep you connected. While Webex does support video calls, please note that Rice has standardized Zoom as its primary video conferencing platform. Webex accounts at Rice are limited to 50-minute video meetings with up to 100 participants and do not support cloud recording.
