How to connect to the RiceNet3 Wired Network on Linux

Instruction for Linux Mint
  1. Open your Network Settings for ethernet.

  2. Click options. In the Connection Name, type "Rice Net". Check the box for "Use 802.1X security for this connection". Authentication type is "PEAP", Inner Authentication is MSCHAPv2. Where prompted for a username and password, type your NetID and NetID password. Click save and then plug in your ethernet cable.

  3. You should now be connected to the Rice Net wired network.
