Mac Contacts / Address Book LDAP configuration

This articles instructs on adding the Rice LDAP directory to your Mac.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Internet Accounts (or Accounts) > Add Account.

Step 2: Select LDAP Account.

Step 3: Enter the following information in the Add A Contacts account window.
 
Description: Rice Directory
Search Base: OU=People, DC=rice, DC=edu
 
Scope: select Subtree 
 
Server Address: directory.rice.edu
 
Port: 389
 
Use SSL: deselect
Enter LDAP Setting
