Announcement: Wait before updating to macOS High Sierra 10.13

Apple officially released macOS High Sierra, 10.13 on September 25, 2017. All Mac users are advised to wait before updating to High Sierra. As with any operating system upgrades, there is potential compatibility issues which may result in complications and affect the level of support from Office of Information Technology Campus Services support specialists.

APFS

macOS High Sierra 10.13 also introduces a completely new filesystem called APFS. It has not been widely tested and upgrading to High Sierra will cause a conversion from HFS to APFS for machines with flash-based Solid State Drives.
