Archive: Checking Usage on Home Drive
Use the following guidelines to determine the storage usage on your home drive. We recommend reviewing storage content and delete items no longer needed.
Preparing to migrate the data out of your home (U:) drive.

2. Review the existing content of your home (U:) drive. Delete items that you no longer need.
Checking the size of your home (U:) drive data from a Windows device
1. Select the files and folders that you will be copying
2. Right-click on your selection and choose “Properties”
3. Note the value in the “Size:” field. You will need to make sure that you have at least this much space available in the place where you will be moving this data.
